Upside-Down Spaghetti (Another "Korean" favorite)

Green Smoothies

I love starting my day with Green Smoothie! It makes me feel like I'm being healthy... no matter what else I eat in a day. My friends at school call it my green slime, but I love it:

2 1/2 cups water

1/8 frozen whole lemon

full blender bowl of greens like spinach and kale

Blend and then re-pack bowl with greens. Blend. (I heard a nutritionist on TV say this week that "If you can only have one vegetable a day, make it spinach!")

Add frozen fruit to make two quarts total smoothie. I like:

frozen chunks of banana

frozen orange

frozen chunks of fresh pineapple

stevia if sweetner is needed
(mixed, frozen berries are great, too, but don't expect GREEN)

You need a powerful blender. I have a Vita Mix and a Wild-Side (96 oz.) BlendTech. Yea! what a way to start the day! I make my husband and son drink it, too, though they don't do a whole quart.
